A new Brisbane-based website, modelling itself on wotif.com's successful formula, will offer businesses and consumers last minute prices on training courses.
The website, startnextweek.com.au, is the creation of Richard Brooks and George Galanos, who say customers can secure discounts of up to 50 percent on their next training course.
"startnextweek.com.au brings together more than 400 training providers, willing to sell their remaining seats at great rates," says Brooks.
Brooks and Galanos say they conceived the startnextweek.com.au concept after recognising the need to improve the process of sourcing training for large-scale corporates, SMEs, students and consumers.
"As a former training manager, I would spend countless hours trying to fill empty seats, and I knew there could be an easier way," Brooks says.
"The emergence of the internet offered the perfect platform to simplify, streamline and automate the process of comparing, booking and buying training.
"We created the site with customer convenience in mind, assuring the whole process – from browsing to booking and buying– was kept as simple as possible.
